The Course

This year's Pajarito Punishment courses follow the same routes as last year, and emphasize the technical aspects of mountain biking, not just stamina. Traditionally the Punishment has been one of the more physically demanding races in the state. The aim this year was to preserve the physically demanding aspects for our die-hard fans, while also choosing trails that will reward solid technical riders. Plus, a little high mountain scenery has never been known to hurt an oxygen-starved brain. We hope you enjoy the race.
